The sea-monster
The myth “The Sea Monster” basically talks about how Perseus after searching for the golden apples and have no success at all he left off to the province of Aethiopia. It was in this country that the princes said that she was prettier than the sea nymphs, so the sea nymphs in response told them that they would send a creature to kill all who believed this story and destroy all of Aethiopia. The Aethiopian King thought that by giving their daughter as a sacrifice he would be able to calm the sea nymph, and beg for forgiveness.
As Perseus arrived to the Aethiopian state he noticed that there was a girl who was tied down to a rock waiting to be devoured by the monster. So what Perseus did was to offer to the king that is he was able to kill and slay the monster he would receive their daughter as reward. The king accepted, and that was what exactly happened and so Perseus lived happily ever after.
The Wedding Feast
In this part of myths Perseus is enjoying his wedding party and all of a suddenly Phineus the betrothed of the virgin (Andromeda) refused to enjoy the party and all he did as scandal to the king and to Perseus. He began challenging Perseus and began to fight. Perseus was asked if he needed help but his response was no, because if he was able to slay the Gordon (Medusa) he was able to kill Phineus. And so the fight continued until Perseus took the cloak the Gorgon head had on and its eyes pointed to Phineus and as a result to look directly into the Gorgon’s eyes he turned into rock and died. This was the end for Phineus and was the beginning to Perseus.
